Matthews & Son LLP are pleased to announce that Simon Chaffe and Paul Malam have been added to the RICS Register of Expert Witnesses.

The RICS sets the mandatory standards which all surveyors acting as expert witness must adhere, and both Simon and Paul have acted in this area for many years. Recognising the need to ensure continued compliance and training in this high level sphere of business, they both recently completed the RICS training course for Expert Witnesses and are now fully registered.

Simon Chaffe’s skills as an Expert Witness mainly lie in the sphere of mineral & waste planning togther with landlord and tenant matters. Paul Malam brings his experience in minerals valuation, mineral estate management and landlord and tenant.

Their skills compliment the existing long standing experience in the firm in acting for Courts and Tribunals in legal matters at the highest levels.
